I grew up as the middle child of five kids in a middle class catholic family. We had lots of love and our Dad "Russ" was always trying to find things we were good at and then giving us support so that we always knew some measure of "success" in our lives, even if it was something small. He would go to our games and plays and when we moved away from home he would write us letters to stay in touch (he hated talking on the phone!). im the kinda girl that walks into chairs and says sorry, i tell people what i think, i can watch tons of horror movies and not get scared, but still scream at the of my lungs when the toaster pops out of the toaste,

i will burst out laughing because of something that happened the day before and dont care what people think, and im a girl who keeps messing up saying "oops sorry" at very thing.

I am a writer and artist from small town Northern Minnesota. I'm a bit of a movie buff, my favorite genres being Independent and Horror. I love sci-fi and anime, and am a proud, unashamed geek. My friends consider me something of a zombie expert as well.

Just your average geek...I love Star Trek, Star Wars, Anime, Manga, and video games. I go to conventions because I think it's cool...like I told you...I am your average geek :-) I have so little time for anything...but I fill my time with wonderful things...a job I love, animals I love, and a hopeful career that I love. I have a little Westie named Snow Angel, I love her so much. I enjoy playing video games and watching tv, specifically movies and crime dramas. I've also picked up knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching as hobbies. I'm going to Hennepin Technical College to major in Child Development so I can become an elementary teacher. I care a lot about my family even though they drive me completely crazy.

I have 2 kids, Thomas and Adeline. Thomas turns 13 this year and Addy turns 4. I collect manga and gashapon but I have too much so be sure to look for me at the swap meet.

I love art and Japanese culture (especially otaku culture and all of the artists involved), but I can be very picky about what I like. I like to hang out with my friends but I can be very anti-social when I feel like it. I guess I'm pretty boring. Although my slightly ultra-awesome friend says "NO YOU ARE NOT, TIEM TO DRINK SOME COKE ZERO BECAUSE WE ARE NERDLY LIKE THAT HURR HURR HURRRRR."- Shelb
